Welcome to Hudson Valley West Coast Swing! Our mission is to bring the wonderful world of West Coast Swing Dance to as many people as possible in the Kingston/Greater Hudson Valley area. We strive to promote not only our own dances, but those in the Hudson Valley region. Partnered dancing is one of the most beneficial ways to stay healthy. Not only does the physical aspect of dancing increase blood flow to the brain, but also the social aspect of dancing leads to less stress, depression and loneliness. Dancing requires memorizing steps and working with a partner, both of which provide mental challenges that are crucial for brain health. Studies have shown that dancing is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's Disease. So what are you waiting for? Think you have two left feet? We have proven methods to get that right foot back where it belongs! So give it a try...see YOU on the dance floor!
There will be no 4th Sunday dance in August. Also the Thursday Aug. 26th Class and Dance are CANCELED. We will all be up at the Summer Hummer. Pam is organizing a table for this weekend. If you want to join her table please contact Pam at hudsonvalleywcs@yahoo.com. Next HVWCS Organized Dance
