Robert Royston for a Mini-Intensive, Workshop and Dance on Oct. 14th, 2023 Robert Royston is returning to the Hudson Valley for another of his popular learning Intensive Weekends. Fun yet immensely practical and informative, these weekends are beneficial for any serious West Coast Swing dancer. Social dancers, Novice - All Star competitors, and instructors alike will all leave the weekend with a new appreciation of the dance. The theme for this mini-intensive will be... If you don't know Robert Royston Robert has a wealth of dance experience as well as his immense knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and kinesiology of the human body enable him to deliver the information to his students in a clear, easy to understand manner. If you have not done a workshop with Robert, this is the perfect opportunity to jump in and benefit from his incredible knowledge and teaching ability. Robert competes, teaches and judges all over the world and is a USA Grand National Cabaret Champion, US National Cabaret Champion, Many Time Showcase Swing Champion, Top 5 NASDE finisher, Div 1 Country Grand Champion, UCWDC Star Award winner, Champion Strictly Swing and Jack n Jill dancer, and has been inducted into the WSDC Swing Dance Hall of Fame, and most recently into the Walk of Legends. Robert has performed on stage’s in NYC like Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Broadway’s Palace Theatre, and Queens Theatre in the Park, on television shows, The Today Show, NY1, ABC’s Country Music Association Awards Show, and on film in “Love n’ Dancing”. He has also worked with artists like Brooks and Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, SugarLand, Taylor Swift and Champion Ice Dancers The Kerr’s.
